Ocote Soul Sounds is Martin Perna, founder of the New York-based group Antibalas. together with Adrian Quesada, co-founder of the Grammy-winning Latin music powerhouse Grupo Fantasma.
This 7” is their debut on Wonderwheel Recordings and features more of the same hazy, psychedelic Latin funk that they’ve become known for, featuring Chico Mann providing vocals on the “A” side, alongsided Quantic on guitar and accordian. Quantic is also featured on the “B” side instrumental cut “Not Yet”
